African Music Charts, aka Afribiz Charts is an online, mainstream music platform that was established in 2010 with the primary aim of exposing African artists from musicians, fashion to various forms of art. The most central reason for the online company suchas ours was due to the many of our African artists who do not have one intercontinental chart where they can contestat a high level. African music lacks sufficient channels that can open doors for it's indigenous talent to reach the global audiences. African artists have a great potential musically, however not all African music audiences are awareof it from all its 53 countries, therefore we are the uniting platform.
We have been operating the charts for over a year since commencement in Dec 2011, we have gained so much
experience mainly on the functionality of the music countdown. Demographics on our website indicate that our
website is a world wide platform for talent in Africa, this means we expose talent globally. With countries such as the
USA, Great Britain, Denmark, China and Japan consistently visiting our website in large numbers, we are confident
to say that we are the biggest platform in Africa.
We take pride in being the first ever billboard a-like music charts to hit the continent of Africa and are aware of the
responsibility, challenges and Triumphs that lie ahead of us.
Music on the African continent needs a platform such as ours (Afribiz charts), to align all its audiences on one
platform, thus give global marketing opportunitlies. Through this initiative, our African musicians are racing for the
top spot and to have a song that can reach number 1 title in Africa. This we believe pushes musicians to deliver their
best, especially those who are still up and coming artists who are on the sidelines watching and wishing to become
part of the show business in the future. We offer African Entertainment news and gossip so as to inform Africans all
over the world about their favourite musicians moves. Modern day African music is fast becoming popular amongst
international arenas of entertainment, this however is due to hard work which has been seen coming from DSTV
channels, Radio stations across Africa, Print media on our continent in no particular order such as:
Trace
Channel O
Mtv Base
DSTV Radio stations
Radio stations across Africa
Entertainment TV channels all over Africa
African Entertainment websites & blogs
Thank you for the outstanding work all above mentioned platforms carry on to do for African music.
